Hackology.Com Home HTTP Brute Forcer Hard Drive Killer Pro Cyberthrill Scam Black Angel Our Link Exchanges Hackology Members Our Articles |
We'd like to apologize for the delays in updating the site. However, there are a few things that need to be put across. First of all, the two other members of hackology are no longer part of the team. The reason being, they have both been idle (not contributing to hackology.com and not taking part in any productive activities) for a considerable period of time. As a result, the Black Angel project has not yet been completed (and has had much difficulty in progressing)! For this reason, their memberships have been suspended. To reinstate a membership, a former member would need to have a significant productive contribution while at the same time remaining active for at least 6 months (this is mainly to show continued commitment). As far as both members are concerned, I highly doubt that their memberships would be reinstated. I will, however, make an effort to release Black Angel in parts (namely, Black Angel Components) where parts of the software would be published in individual packages (and as stand alone programs). I will keep you notified if I take this option. I once again apologize for the delays in the release of BA, please remember that it was beyond my control, as it is practically impossible for me to complete the project on my own (not enough time), this is why I may release it in components (one by one). Completion of Member Evaluation As we mentioned in our last announcement, we were evaluating the possibility of taking in a new member, going by the pseudonym Splice (read last announcement). Shortly after the announcement, Splice flew into Roswell (from California, for one week) for a person-to-person evaluation with Lord Ikon. The evaluation was successful, and was followed by another meeting (three weeks later, for another week) in California. We are now pleased to advise that Splice has been approved to become a fully qualified member of The Hackology Network. After an intensive 6-month evaluation period, we are honoured to have him on our team. Splice has now moved to Roswell (a Hackology Network base), after 16 years of residing in California, in order to commence with a large-scale research and development project for Black Angel. For more information about Splice and his impressive Security/Programming background attained over a duration of 20 years, please click here. Member Evaluation Updates A potential member which we had on trial (intending on accepting into the group, Acid Meister), as previously announced, will not be a part of the team. After 8 months of trials and speculation, we concluded that he does not meet our stringent requirements and standards, and therefore, will not be accepted into The Hackology Network. We wish him all the best in his future approbations. That aside, we are currently evaluating the potential of taking in another member, going by the pseudonym Splice. Splice has as extensive security background, his many years of experience, encapsulating a diverse range of security related issues, primarily pertaining to network security, will prove to be vital resource for The Hackology Network in the years to come. Splice also has a strong programming background, which perfectly complements his security-related expertise. That said, Splice will be involved in an array of research projects and software development efforts, including research and development for the long-awaited Black Angel. Splice has been under review for 5 months, and we shall announce the result of his application within the upcoming weeks. More Microsoft Test Servers It appears as though Microsoft never learns, in light of the former MSN Hotmail test servers we found, an additional MSN Test Server was discovered (thank you Daniel Cranford - Houston, TX). Microsoft obviously has not taken any steps to remove their test servers from the public domain, they have threatened us many times for exposing them, yet, they do nothing about it (apart from the usual complaining, sending threatening emails and making obscene phone calls at awkward hours). The URL for the test server is http://msn.com./ (notice the "." after the com and before the "/" part, this is what takes you to the test servers). You can enter the URL without the "/" (forward slash) at the end, I placed it there so the dot won't seem too isolated and remain unnoticed. Once again, Microsoft is leaving itself open for exploitation - when people know the moves MS will make, before they even make them (that is exactly what test/debug servers provide), it'll give a clear advantage to those who are willing to abuse this privilege. To visit the test server, click here. A Minute of Silence... We'd like to put across our sincere condolences for the recent series of tragedies in the United States of America, especially for those directly effected by these events. Thank you to those who have made blood donations and those who have opted in for temporary volunteer work. Warmest Regards, MB (Melbourne, Australia) and LI (Roswell, USA) 15 Months after the Brute Forcer An article describing the history, aim, goals, events and results surrounding Munga Bunga's HTTP Brute Forcer with in the last 15 months has been published, click here to read the article - it is a suggested & interesting read. Definitions keep growing... Thank you to JeiAr for the group of Definition Files he has authored for Munga Bunga's HTTP Brute Forcer. The Definition Files can be found in the Definition Files Archive as of now. Other updates to the Definition Files Archive shall go unannounced (except for acknowledgements to authors) as of now. You'll need to keep checking for updates. Updated Definition Files & Development Progress The Definition Files Archive for Munga Bunga's HTTP Brute Forcer has been updated (in that, new definitions have been added). Additionally, there have been good developments in The Hackology Scanner and you should expect a release within the week. New arrivals: Software, documentation and intelligence We are pleased to advise that there shall be new additions to The Hackology Network. One in which is a unique software product programmed solely by Lord Ikon - a product with unique capabilities, titled The Hackology Scanner. Don't worry, the development & release of this product line shall not take years as has Black Angel. We expect a release between now and mid May. We will be introducing a new member to The Hackology Network - named Acid Meister. Acid Meister shall be involved in writing extensive and comprehensive documentation to help educate the masses and loyal followers of our team. Experience and skill information regarding Acid Meister shall be posted during his Formal Introduction. He is a very knowledgeable, intelligent and well respected individual within the community and we are proud to have his intellectual resources at our disposal. Due to our extremely selective nature, Acid Meister will only be the 2nd additional person having made the team in our years of existence. HDKP4 (EXE) only 10 KB That's right, we now have available a version of Hard Drive Killer Pro 4.0 in EXE format that is only 10 KB in size. For more details on how it works, and how to get it, refer to the HDKP section. Beware of the Fake We'd like to inform you all to beware of websites that claim to distribute Black Angel (our software product, which is currently in development) to people. The copy that they are distributing is fake, and in no way related to, neither in part nor in whole, Black Angel itself. It is believed that people are just distributing Trojans by using our name and software titles. Please do not download our software from people you don't trust, and try to download from our site only. If it's not available here, then it's a fake. Hotmail: Too shy to stay online Typically, the hotmail test servers we discovered (refer to previous announcement) are now all offline. I guess it's rather ironic, they initially attempted to have hackology.com shutdown with some simple requests, but rather, ended up shutting their own servers down after we informed everybody about their secret test systems. Blatant stupidity, or extreme indecisiveness? You decide. Either way, you'd expect both from Microsoft. Secret Hotmail Test Servers Found Yes, you heard right. Hotmail evidently has separate servers where they test all source codes written for the hotmail web based email application. No one knows about these test servers, so you'll be the first to find out our discovery through hackology.com. The following domains (servers) are officially registered under Microsoft Cooperation.
Click on the above domain names right now, before they take them down. You can't log into your hotmail account from those test systems, but by all means, you can create a HMTest.com and HotmailTest3.Com account, then log into those. Why are these of any benefit? Well, for many reasons, firstly, you would be able to test our home grown http brute forcer on these systems, and write definition files for them, assisting us all in understanding where the hotmail problems arise. The test servers are bound to be buggy, hence they are test servers. Who knows? Maybe there are serious security flaws that would (say) allow you to access source? Assist in the discovery of a new hotmail exploit? Perhaps even access information that is inaccessible via their public servers. Whatever you decide to do, it's up to you to explore, learn and share what you may find - good luck, you'll need it! Hotmail is placing pressure on us again, to have us shut down. If the situation gets serious, we'll make a publication to inform the public as to what is going on. Right now, you can get the media releases regarding the Hotmail Test Servers from InfoGuerra - by clicking here. Free Education - Over 200 free IT courses You can now access over 200 completely full and 100% free IT based courses (in Programming, UNIX, databases, graphics, Intranet and many more) via The Hackology Network website. You can even study the technologies we use to create our products, codes and scripts. You may access this section on the left hand side menu. Or, click here to view a list of free and full online course subjects. Hackology.Com is back! Lord Ikon saved the Hackology.Com domain recently, without him, we wouldn't have made it back online. Yes, a frustrating 3 months it has been since we disappeared off the face of the 'net. But we are back, and you can count on that! If you would like to know the reasons as to why and how we were inaccessible for 3 months, you may click here to find out more about the problems we had. Recording industry crippled by HTTP Brute Forcer The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) was crippled by anonymous attackers recently, in a fight against their anti-technology and cyber phobic attitude against Napster. Our home grown HTTP Brute Forcer was used in the attacks. We have the definition files, and the media coverage. Click here for more. Hard Drive Killer Pro 5.0 Beta for Win32 released It's been 18 months since HDKP4 was released, now the long awaited, NT compatible, HDKP5 for Win32 and in EXE format is here! More information. Modular Programming Section? I am thinking of making a programming section, where we can publish our own ActiveX DLL controls and modules of code. You would be able to use these modules on almost any platform, in VC++, Delphi, VB, ASP and all other languages which support the ActiveX standard. However, we do not know if there is sufficient demand. Therefore, let us know if you would like such a section, and if we receive enough requests, we'll publish our codes. Full update and upgrade on Hackology.Com Almost all sections on the hackology.com website has been updated, or content refreshed. If there is an area you are interested in, please re-visit that area. In addition, there have been many new sections and documents added. You may start exploring from the left hand side menu.
